Diablo the Chi

Diablo is the cutest little Chi in the world!
He was a challenge to photograph for sure though! The little guy was not fond of the studio lights or having his picture taken ;) He is adorably cute though, so of course that made up for his freaked-out-ness ;) Ryan had a whole lot of props and super cute ideas which turned out to be really adorable. Love your little boy Ryan! Enjoy your images!

Forsythe Family

A few weeks ago I met up with the Forsythe family at the Loyalist Burial Grounds for their family session. James was a very good boy with the cutest little smile but it was terribly cold out. We managed to get some shots in the bus booth where the wind was blocked. I cannot believe Winter has set in already!
I hope you all enjoy your images and have a great Holiday Season!

ADOPTED!

Friends of mine adopted a few little kittens last week from the Saint John Animal Rescue League. Of course I had to go over for a visit and take a few photos ;) As you can see they are CUTE as buttons, and would love it if anyone could give their siblings that are still at the shelter a good home! Visit the Saint John Animal Rescue League website or call 506-642-0920 - There are so many more furbabies looking for good homes!

How CUTE are these two?

REMEMBRANCE Day in Saint John

Today we took a moment to Remember with my Grandfather, a Veteran himself.

My Grandfather served in WW2 and the Korean War. He has also dedicated his lifetime to the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Legion and the Last Post Fund. I could not say enough about this man, only that he is a great inspiration to me and everyone he has met in his 85 years here on earth.

Please take a moment today to remember all of those that dedicated their lives and continue to do so for our freedom.

Michelle & Jeremy

I met up with Michelle and Jeremy at Market Square and then we headed up to King Square for some photos they were having done for family gifts at Christmas. Since I am very good friends with Jeremy's mother (something we discovered just upon meeting that day!) I was very excited to do their session, but wondered how I would keep it a Secret? LOL Despite the rain earlier that day, we were clear for a few hours and managed to get some beautiful shots with the gorgeous fall leaves in the park.
They were a blast to work with and such an adorable young couple!

Happy 1st Birthday Kody!

I am a little late in posting this, however, we celebrated our Nephew Kody's very first Birthday last weekend! He is adorable with big brown almond eyes! He very much enjoyed his cupcake and actually ended up wearing some in the end ;)
Happy Birthday little Boy!

Custom Photography Pricing Explained

A good friend of mine forwarded me a great website created by Marianne Drenthe that explains a photographer's side of the business and how pricing for a custom portrait session or event is considered.

Professional Photographer Consumer Guide

When you hire a custom photographer you are paying for more than just the pictures. Have a look, it's a great read! :) And kudos to Marianne for creating this wonderful article!
