Kailie & Dana ~ Love

These two were SO MUCH FUN to work with! What a sweet loving couple and so adventurous! We chose the Nail Factory Road Waterfalls for their shoot which turned out to be a perfect spot. It is truly a breathtaking area with numerous waterfalls and pools of water stretching all along the pathway. Certainly a sight to see! I loved that they were willing to try anything. Dana was not too keen on jumping up and down, but Kailie was ~ and it turned out to be a blast!
Good luck to you both with your new "move" and enjoy your images :)

This little bugger was throwing things at me from the tree. He actually hit me in the head with a piece of bark once! LOL Cute... but what a trouble maker! :)

Bev, Amanda, Patrick, Ben & Jessie ~ Family

I met up with Bev, Amanda, Patrick, Ben and Jessie for a family photo shoot at the courthouse grounds in Hampton. What an interesting place for a shoot. The leaves were plenty and perfect for a fall setting. Amanda and Patrick are the funniest kids ever - we laughed SO much! And let's face it, how often do you get to bombard your mother with an arm full of leaves? They really went to town! LOL Every time I looked over at Patrick he was making some sort of "face" and Amanda made a few of her own as well! What a fun family :)! ...And their pup Jessie is just beautiful!
Here is a preview of your shoot, hope you enjoy!

Bev and Ben are recently engaged and I am looking forward to shooting their Wedding in Spring 2009!

Sharon & Friends

Sharon wanted to have a shoot done with her close group of friends since Sandra was heading for a new adventure out to the wonderful West soon. So I met up with Sharon, Sandra, Paula, Natalie, Elaine, Brent, Ryan, Rachel, and little Liam and headed over to the loyalist burial grounds in Saint John.

Here is a preview of our shoot together and I will have many more soon!
Hope you all enjoy and good luck with your new endeavor Sandra!

BOUDOIR MARATHON Sessions! January '09!

Ladies, this is your chance to get all dolled up and have some beautiful boudoir or glamour shots taken of you. They could be a gift for yourself or your special someone. And... just in time for Valentine's Day! I will also be having a Cosmetician attend to do your makeup before your shoot as well which I am very excited about :)

You will retain a photo CD of fully retouched "Picture Perfect" photographs from your photo shoot.

Check back in a few weeks and I will have some examples on my blog with more details of the date's events and schedule! ;)

If you would like more details or to reserve your session, please contact me at rgallantphoto@gmail.com or call 506.640.0789

Update!

I have been extremely busy with shoots, work, and my other business lately!

I thought I'd share this because it's cute...
My husband Marc loves me enough to hold a puff ball in his hand (this took alot of effort on my part by the way!) while I took this photo. And I'm sure he doesn't mind me posting this on my blog either ~ Right hunny? :) lol

This photo below was taken while waiting to board the Kingston Ferry (since I have been over there so many times in the past month, I figured it would be appropriate to share)! :)

Did I mention I am also working on photos from the 4 shoots I did last weekend? So keep an eye for those images in the next few weeks ;)
Here is a sneak peak of just a few!

Kristin & Matt ~ Maternity

Kristin, Matt, Samson(puppy) and I had a great time wandering around their huge country property. My sister Samantha came along to be my assistant for the day. (Thank you Sam!)

K & M are such an adorable couple! Samson is a sweetheart and those chickens - Oh my they were funny and super cute!!!! I lovvvvvved them! The big red tractor in the barn was a hit and made for some fun shots but so many spider webs! There was certainly a ton of character and interesting things to explore on thier lovely acreage.
Enjoy your images and good luck with your new baby girl (Who is actually due any day now!) ;)

And, here is Butters, Skinny, Drumstick and Pecky

Tristen & Emily ~ Fall

This was my second time photographing the Tomkos children. They are just adorable together - Tristen just loves his little sister Emily and he was a huge help during our shoot (Thank you Tristen). We headed out to the Kingston area where I had done Michelle's Maternity shoot a few weeks ago. I cannot believe how much the leaves had fallen from just a few weeks before! Fall is certainly here, and infact, almost over! Snow is on the way, I'm afraid! eek!
Our shoot was so much fun - who knew romping around a graveyard could entertain kids so well :) Throwing the leaves in the air was the best part! Sandy, I hope you and your family enjoy and I cannot wait until our Winter shoot! And... You have to be in the next ones! ;)

John & Ripley

John decided on Rockwood Park as the location to have some photos taken of him and his sweet pup, Ripley. It was a cool fall day, but our long walk made the coolness somewhat bearable! Ripley was so adorable and listened so well. He didn't seem to mind posing in multiple locations, chasing the ducks, or the walk.
John I hope you and your family enjoy your images and hugs to Rip!

FCC Fall Colors Field Trip

Our Fundy Camera Club had an outdoor Field Trip to take advantage of the Fall Colors outside this past Sunday. It is a great thing we had beautiful weather, because heading out at 6am on a Sunday morning is not easy! :)
We started out at Tims which certainly was necessary as I needed my Iced Cappuccino to get me going! Headed across the Kingston Ferry and over to the Nail Factory Road Waterfalls. BEAUTIFUL spot ~ a continuous waterfall with various steps to it. After that, we stopped along a Kingston roadside with a beautiful view of the Kennebecasis River. Then on to the Market (Where I was very proud of myself for turning down the VERY delicious smelling sticky buns that Glenn purchased to share!) and then over to the Hampton Marsh. It was a beautiful morning and stunning colors all around us.

Michelle ~ Maternity

For Michelle's maternity shoot we headed out to the Kingston Penninsula in search of an apple orchard and pumpkin patch. After an hour of driving around with no such luck, we settled for the beautiful burial ground and field by the old school and a rustic looking convenience store. It turned out to be a beautiful spot with interesting old signs and a hidden little antique shop out back as well. The trees were gorgeous since Fall has finally set in. Not to mention Michelle's natural red locks went perfectly with the colors around us ~ so beautiful!
Congratulations Michelle, Tim and Amelia on your new little bundle!
