McLure Family

It was Amanda & Shawn's 3rd Wedding Anniversary. What a perfect day to have family photos taken at a beautiful estate in Rothesay. They make a very sweet couple ~ you can tell you are very much in love.
Clayton was an absolute DOLL ~ those blue blue eyes, oh-my-gosh! He is going to be such a heartbreaker when he's older for sure! Clayton just loved the camera as well, which made my job so much easier and fun! :)
Hope you two enjoy your images!

Samantha's Jill-e Shoot

Jill from Jill-e Designs LLC asked me to shoot a few photographs of myself with my Jill-e bag, shooting one of my "cute dogs". Well, I thought I would use my sister, Samantha instead! So, out we went, Samantha, Zoe and I for a photoshoot. We did get some great shots, and I turned it into a portrait session for my little sis' at the end ;)
She is certainly turning into quite the beautiful young girl!

Fur-kids.

The children in our household consist of
Zoe, Fenway and Piper.
The most spoiled, content, lovable yet extremely destructive beings on the planet.
I swear, sometimes they honestly think they own us. We go out and work so they can eat very special food and gourmet doggy-treats, sleep on very comfy beds, play with many “Boston Terrier safe” toys and the list goes on in their very plush lifestyle.
For instance, this is what happens when I make the bed. The duvet and sheets come off and so the three of them jump on the bed. Funny, yet not so funny at the same time. :)

Custom Camera Bag and Straps

I am all about making things easier and of course more fashionable in my daily life.

I must say, I am pretty proud of myself! I managed to make myself a Lens Bag from scratch. There are a few out there on the market but I figured I'd give it a try since I wanted it made out of specific materials. Now, I still have my Jill-e Bag for storage and to carry my main camera gear in. This bag is meant to carry my lenses while I'm on a photoshoot. It's light and fits snug around my body, but strong enough to carry my lenses, flash and accessories wherever I need to go!

So, What did I make it out of?

Faux chocolate leather exterior, soft minky black interior pockets custom made to fit each of my lenses, batteries and so on. It’s deep enough that if I have to, I can also fit my camera body in there as well as a wallet and other things. And it’s padded to ensure my equipment stays safe! I’ve also stitched the straps on with extra safety in mind ~ It’s certainly not coming off any time soon! I added a D-ring to attach my lens cloth to the front where it will be in easy reach. My favorite part? The front fashion flap is detachable so I can swap the flaps out when I get bored or feel it’s time for a change ~ Voila a whole new bag look!
*grins with self gratification*

Sorry to my fellow Photog’s. These are not for sale ;)

Now, on the other hand, if you are in the market for some fashionable
SLR Camera Straps, I make those too, and they are for sale over in my store Zoe's Collection! I currently have over 70 designs, and I add new ones all the time! Just another addiction, or... I mean, job of mine :) just click the images below
(Thank you Penny for the use of your SLR Body for these photos!)

Christen ~ Portrait Session

Christen and I headed out to the country this past weekend for her portrait session. Smith Falls was beautiful! It did have a steep incline, but rather easy to get to ~ depending on your footwear, of course! Then we found some hay bails and neat red barns on Brent Rourke's property, which he kindly let us use. He makes beautiful shaker boxes and such, check them out on his website www.shakerboxesnb.com! It turned out to be an excellent location with many interesting textures and colors.
The whole morning, though very early, was so much fun!
Christen, I had a blast working with you and I hope you enjoy your images ;)
